This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark, +1 more country.
β’ Collaborate with outcome teams to tackle intricate technical challenges that span across systems, teams, or domains.
β’ Test and implement new tools, patterns, and practices through production work prior to wider adoption.
β’ Lead the architecture forum and create processes for documenting, communicating, and revisiting architectural decisions.
β’ Oversee the evolution of the web and mobile platform utilizing Vue 3, Quasar, Capacitor, Node.js, Firebase, Firestore, and Google Cloud Platform.
β’ Assess and suggest whether to build, buy, adopt, or retire tools and frameworks.
β’ Address and resolve complex cross-cutting issues in production.
β’ Establish common technical standards for code quality, testing, APIs, data modeling, documentation, and system design.
β’ Identify and prioritize technical debt, performance, scalability, and system health risks.
β’ Enhance internal ownership through comprehensive documentation, knowledge-sharing, and collaborative efforts.
β’ Foster alignment among teams via the Lead Engineers guild.
β’ Promote responsible AI-assisted development practices.
β’ Mentor Senior and Lead Engineers through pairing, design reviews, feedback, and problem-solving sessions.
β’ Contribute to the engineering career ladder, leveling, calibration, and technical evaluation during the hiring process.
β’ Collaborate with QA, Product, and DevOps to ensure quality, testability, and operability are designed in.
β’ Assist in maintaining compliance and audit readiness within a regulated healthcare environment.
β’ Achieve clearer architectural decisions, system ownership, risk management plans, advancements in AI-assisted development, and improved engineering decision-making within 6β12 months.
β’ Significant experience as a Senior, Lead, or Principal Software Engineer, demonstrating a history of delivering complex, production-grade systems.
β’ Strong technical expertise and practical coding experience in production environments.
β’ Extensive proficiency in Vue 3 and Node.js, coupled with a solid understanding of full-stack development.
β’ Robust practical experience with Domain-Driven Design, including bounded contexts and tactical DDD in code.
β’ Proven experience with Firebase, Firestore, and Google Cloud Platform services.
β’ History of setting and influencing technical direction across various teams.
β’ In-depth architectural experience with layered systems, event-driven architecture, and modular monoliths.
β’ Capability to align architectural and technical trade-offs with product objectives, customer requirements, business outcomes, and responsible growth.
β’ High standards for code quality.
β’ Proficient written communication skills through design documents, architectural decision records, standards, and review feedback.
β’ Comfortable operating in ambiguous situations and navigating disagreements constructively.
β’ Strong interest in AI-assisted development and contemporary engineering workflows.
β’ Experience in an empowered product-team model is advantageous.
β’ Background in healthcare, regulated technology, or environments sensitive to privacy, security, and quality is a plus.
