Principal Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and shape the technical strategy and innovation initiatives of the organization.

• Responsible for the consistent implementation of technical decisions by providing clear guidance and holding teams accountable for their execution.

• Continuously ensure that our software architecture is closely aligned with product management to support both current and future product objectives.

• Lead the architectural vision to facilitate the delivery of scalable, maintainable, and cutting-edge solutions.

• Convert business requirements into effective technical solutions.

• Address and resolve complex technical challenges promptly and accurately.

• Mentor and inspire engineers to enhance their professional development.

• Build and expand a high-performing technology organization and engineering culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience in software development utilizing various general-purpose programming languages for at least 5 years.

• A strong history of designing scalable and secure systems, showcasing a dedication to quality.

• Extensive experience in creating and implementing APIs that facilitate seamless integration and system communication.

• An agile and results-driven mindset, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.

• Proficiency in communicating with stakeholders in business language while understanding the technical implications of their needs.

• Industry-leading experience in leading cross-functional teams and ensuring engineering alignment in fast-paced settings, including making and executing critical technical decisions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
