📋 Description

• Take charge of the application engineering strategy and implementation across backend, mobile, and desktop platforms.

• Create dependable systems for AI-driven workflows, encompassing state management, orchestration, tool utilization, retries, fallbacks, and failure management.

• Develop APIs and abstractions that connect AI systems to tangible product experiences.

• Guide a small, senior engineering team through design evaluations, code assessments, and practical mentorship.

• Make significant trade-offs concerning latency, reliability, cost, security, and user experience.

• Establish foundational production elements, including observability, monitoring, testing, and operational excellence.

• Collaborate with Machine Learning leadership to translate model capabilities into robust, shippable product experiences.

• Act swiftly while maintaining a simple, maintainable architecture that is prepared to scale.

• Ensure that production systems are observable, monitored, and stable under real-world conditions.

• Enhance latency and reliability in a measurable way over time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) is mandatory.

• Extensive experience in leading application or product engineering for complex systems.

• Strong practical background in building and delivering backend systems used in production environments.

• Experience in developing AI-driven products or systems that incorporate modern Machine Learning (ML)/Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities.

• Strong technical judgment with the capability to make decisions based on incomplete information.

• Comfortable working across backend and client platforms, with deep expertise in at least one of them.

• A strong inclination towards ownership, delivery, and learning from real-world applications.

• High standards regarding code quality, reliability, and engineering principles.

• Must be willing to complete a 60-minute coding assessment.
