Principal Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain full-stack features for the network management platform utilizing C# and contemporary frameworks.

• Develop efficient APIs through REST, gRPC, GraphQL, and various other interfaces.

• Create and enhance microservices operating in Kubernetes, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security.

• Generate automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting purposes.

• Contribute to the AI-assisted coding workflow by assessing and integrating various tools.

• Assist in formulating specifications and plans for new designs.

• Engage in the DevSecOps process and collaborate with the team to guarantee high-quality implementations.

• Produce architectural documentation and support materials.

• Collaborate closely with product owners and external stakeholders to translate complex networking concepts into intuitive and reliable tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Over 10 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Profound expertise in C#, .NET, and modern design frameworks and tools.

• Familiarity with virtual machines (VMware, Hyper-V) and virtual networking technologies.

• Understanding of security concepts, PKI, and encryption standards.

• Experience with container orchestration, including Docker compose files and Helm charts, is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of web UI design and implementation (Blazor, Angular, JavaScript) is an advantage.

• Experience in developing functionalities to monitor/control hardware devices such as network routers or sensors is preferred.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong interpersonal abilities, a collaborative approach, and a proactive mindset.

• May require exposure to export-controlled information and additional security screening.

• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information.
