This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Develop, construct, and tailor ServiceNow applications and ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Establish Business Rules, Script Includes, and other custom scripts to automate workflows and fulfill business requirements.
• Connect ServiceNow with other systems utilizing REST, SOAP, and similar technologies.
• Conduct user and role management, system upkeep, and health evaluations.
• Personalize user interfaces, forms, and workflows.
• Offer end-user assistance and resolve issues related to integrated processes and platform functionality.
• Define and generate reports, dashboards, and data analysis products in collaboration with end users, stakeholders, and management.
• Engage in technical process assessments, postmortems, and ongoing process enhancements.
• Keep up-to-date with current ServiceNow and industry certifications while acquiring additional credentials.
• Contribute to whitepapers, BOEs, design documentation, customer presentations, methodology adjustments, standards, knowledge sharing, innovation initiatives, and technology pilots.
• Guide junior team members and facilitate staff development.
• Technical training, certifications, or a degree.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications and ITSM modules.
• Strong knowledge of SOAP, REST, web services, and integrations.
• Excellent scripting abilities in at least one language, ideally JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Import Sets, Transform Maps, and CMDB.
• Capability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot problems, and devise technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities.
• Understanding of Agile software testing from smoke testing to integration and production deployment.
• Proficient in documenting and creating functionalities that align with customer value streams.
• Ability to communicate as a high-level technical expert and contribute to whitepapers, BOEs, and design documentation.
• Proven ability to lead high-stakes customer demonstrations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Quick learner of new technologies.
• Ability to drive methodology changes, manage customer deliverables, resolve process issues, and influence standards.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Capacity to collaborate with and influence stakeholders, mentor junior team members, support staff growth, lead knowledge sharing, and spearhead innovation projects and technology pilots.
• Must possess ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator certification.
