This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement the strategic vision for the Enterprise Architecture practice under the guidance of leadership.
• Work collaboratively with domain architects, engineers, leaders, IT professionals, product teams, and senior executives to establish technical standards, reference architectures, design patterns, position papers, and architecture decision frameworks.
• Formulate and oversee the technical strategy for Salesforce and facilitate its adoption across the organization.
• Develop enterprise-level guidance for system design, infrastructure integrations, application development, and runtime principles.
• Oversee the architecture review process, which includes validation checklists and the review of architectural artifacts.
• Convert business requirements into well-structured Salesforce solutions.
• Design comprehensive solutions for intricate business challenges, focusing on scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability, and manageability.
• Manage the technical delivery of custom development integrations and data migrations for Salesforce implementations.
• Investigate emerging technologies, create proofs of concept, and advocate for robust, cost-effective technology solutions.
• Promote the adoption of enterprise design patterns and standardized solution design and development methodologies.
• Generate target-state solution architectures, perform assessments and gap analyses, and influence solution strategy and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with data, integration, and solution architects on data management, security, compliance, integration, and overall enterprise alignment.
• Partner with business leaders to develop business capability models that align with organizational needs.
• Cultivate a learning community within the enterprise architecture discipline and encourage continuous improvement.
• Report directly to the Director of Enterprise Architecture.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience as a senior domain architect or senior enterprise architect.
• Previous role as a Principal Salesforce Architect in a global organization, working with Salesforce Connected Apps and Salesforce AppExchange applications.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering complex B2B SaaS Salesforce solutions.
• Successfully led a minimum of two large-scale Product-to-Cash (CPQ/RCA) implementations from design through to go-live.
• More than 5 years of experience defining Salesforce architecture across quoting, contracting, fulfillment, billing, revenue, customer success, and customer support.
• Experience in planning and directing architecture delivery for large-scale business and systems transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale Salesforce initiatives from concept to execution.
• In-depth understanding of Salesforce architecture capabilities and ecosystems, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, or SuccessFactors.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the capability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• 5 years of practical experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF, C4, or ArchiMate.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Previous focus on data architecture, application or solution architecture, integration, risk management, and technology standards.
• Solid understanding of security architecture principles and practices.
• Proven experience in business capability modeling and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect, or System Architect certifications are preferred.
• Familiarity with managed packages such as Gong, DocuSign CLM, Kantata, Gainsight, Showpad, Qualtrics, or similar enterprise applications is advantageous.
• Experience with Generative AI Code Assistants, like GitHub Copilot, and knowledge of current Generative AI model capabilities would be beneficial.
