This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.
• Lead and oversee initiatives aimed at enhancing the health, efficiency, and impact of the design team.
• Set program objectives, strategies, operational models, and governance structures.
• Navigate uncertainty and align various stakeholders effectively.
• Implement program tactics while adhering to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Identify challenges and drive them towards resolution.
• Connect related programs, teams, and partners while engaging stakeholders for collective success.
• Organize and facilitate meetings, along with crafting essential communications.
• Design and direct design sprints for user-facing products as well as internal programs and services.
• Mentor and assist design team members in prioritization, effort estimation, asset management, and knowledge exchange.
• Create and implement enhanced workflows through design thinking methodologies.
• Develop, document, and disseminate best practices and resources for DesignOps.
• Advocate for the advancement of DesignOps across Autodesk.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 4 years of design program management experience in a software setting, preferably within a software company.
• Familiarity with user-centered design principles, UX tools, techniques, and primarily Agile software development methods.
• Proven success in establishing and managing programs, completing significant initiatives effectively.
• Experience in leading design sprints and facilitating workshops.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance it.
• Solid understanding of AI and experience in helping designers improve their proficiency in AI.
• Current knowledge of the latest AI tools and features available for designers.
• Exceptional writing, reporting, and documentation abilities.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, likely 10% of the time or less.
