This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Act as an operational liaison and analyst in support of FAA Navigation Aids programs.
• Supervise decommissioning projects and coordinate modifications to facilities as well as airspace/procedure strategies across various multidisciplinary teams.
• Facilitate and support navigation facility and modernization initiatives from the planning stage through to implementation and finalization.
• Oversee facility discontinuance and decommissioning processes, manage aeronautical data and instrument flight procedure alterations, handle decommissioning requests, and address non-rulemaking packages.
• Monitor project progress, schedules, equipment deliveries, re-baselining, close-out tasks, and technical training requirements related to FAA modernization efforts.
• Collaborate with Flight Procedures Teams, planning and requirements groups, engineering, program managers, Technical Operations, federal partners, and airport authorities.
• Manage flight inspection requirements and schedules utilizing FAA databases and facilitate activities across organizations.
• Ensure accurate program and project information is maintained in tracking systems and databases.
• Create and maintain project schedules, prepare productivity and production reports, and review Safety Risk Management System documentation.
• Guarantee that program records, reports, approvals, and supporting documentation are complete and up-to-date.
• A Bachelor’s degree along with 4 or more years of relevant experience.
• Capability to extract data from various sources.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Highly organized with excellent prioritization capabilities and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to collaborate with distributed teams and cross-functional partners.
• Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
• Preferred: Experience in program and project management, including planning, scheduling, milestone tracking, risk/issue management, change control, re-baselining, and project close-out.
• Preferred: Skills in stakeholder management and cross-functional communication.
• Preferred: Experience in maintaining project databases, records, schedules, dashboards, productivity reports, and management documentation with a focus on data accuracy and quality control.
• Preferred: Knowledge of Safety Risk Management, technical documentation, regulatory/non-rulemaking processes, and the ability to translate technical information into actionable project requirements.
• Preferred: Proficiency in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards.
