This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO and cross-functional leaders to advance Picus’ company, portfolio, and product positioning.
• Keep track of the cybersecurity market, Gartner, and other critical analysts, customer priorities, emerging categories, and competitor narratives.
• Identify market changes, differentiation opportunities, and strategic white space.
• Develop messaging frameworks, value propositions, category narratives, and supporting proof points.
• Transform complex product innovations and Picus Labs research into evidence-based stories for customers, prospects, analysts, partners, and industry influencers.
• Lead the quarterly update of Picus’ corporate and portfolio narrative.
• Create executive-level presentations for customers, the field, analysts, and major industry events.
• Shape and direct Picus’ thought-leadership agenda.
• Collaborate with internal experts to develop points of view, research reports, whitepapers, and narratives for executives or events.
• Provide Sales and go-to-market teams with messaging playbooks, presentations, competitive insights, and launch narratives.
• Validate and refine messaging through input from customers, prospects, analysts, and field teams.
• Convert research and product work into accessible language and mental models that assist organizations in evaluating and adopting new approaches.
• Manage deliverables from start to finish, from research and initial drafts to refined narratives utilized by the field.
• Update messaging, narratives, and executive-level presentations on a quarterly basis.
• Over 5 years of product marketing (or equivalent) experience in B2B enterprise software, with significant experience in cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated success in defining and refining company, portfolio, and product positioning in rapidly evolving markets.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity buyers, market categories, analyst viewpoints, and competitive dynamics.
• Experience in exposure management or security validation is a notable advantage.
• Ability to synthesize customer insights, competitive intelligence, analyst research, and technical innovations into unique perspectives and actionable strategic recommendations.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Capability to simplify complex technical concepts while maintaining credibility and substance.
• Excellent storytelling and presentation abilities.
• Experience in developing executive-level narratives and presentations for customers, analysts, sales teams, and industry events.
• Strong executive presence.
• Ability to collaborate with and constructively challenge leaders across Product, Research, Sales, and Marketing.
• Hands-on approach with a high ownership working style.
• Ability to work independently, progressing from research and strategy to a solid first draft and quickly iterating based on feedback.
