Principal Product Manager, Order Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Establish robust relationships with merchants and CT domains.

• Comprehend the fundamental reasons behind merchant inquiries.

• Anticipate the requirements of expanding merchants and engineering teams.

• Take ownership of intricate products that affect multiple teams and Cimpress Technology domains.

• Utilize data regarding order volume, merchant satisfaction, and system performance to inform decision-making.

• Define and consistently monitor clear success metrics.

• Suggest new order management features based on market trends and emerging technologies.

• Develop the vision and roadmap for Order Management.

• Collect feedback from businesses, engineers, operations, and leadership amidst complexity and uncertainty.

• Oversee the Order Management solution from start to finish and make significant decisions.

• Collaborate with product teams across Quote, Cart, Checkout, and Fulfillment.

• Mentor 1–2 direct reports and assist junior product managers in their development.

• Foster alignment among stakeholders.

• Adapt direction based on feedback, data, and stakeholder contributions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product management.

• 3+ years in a senior or principal role.

• Proven track record in managing complex, multi-stakeholder products.

• In-depth knowledge of e-commerce, order management, or other critical systems.

• Experience treating internal engineering teams as clients, such as in platform products, infrastructure, or internal tools.

• Ability to grasp order management connections to APIs, events, micro-services, and the wider platform.

• Capability to collaborate with engineers on architecture and system design.
