This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Take ownership of the customer-facing data, analytics, and insights portfolio from start to finish.
• Establish strategy and lead collaboration across engineering, analytics, customer success, and go-to-market teams.
• Develop AI-powered insight products from the ground up that elucidate business changes, forecast outcomes, and suggest actions within customer workflows.
• Manage the premium analytics product line, which includes reporting, dashboards, alerting, natural-language reporting, and enhancements to embedded reporting.
• Create a cohesive cross-product analytics experience across the customers’ Vehlo product ecosystem.
• Define data delivery methods through APIs, MCP surfaces, exports, warehouse sharing, BI connectors, and access controls.
• Oversee the semantic layer and metric definitions across different products.
• Drive pricing strategies, packaging, and analytics unit economics, including cost-to-serve and tiering.
• Develop benchmarking and market-intelligence products based on repair data.
• Ensure data quality and customer trust are measurable outcomes of the product.
• Align teams on an analytics governance framework.
• Construct a cost-to-serve model per location that is accepted by the finance team.
• Engage with customers of all sizes and define requirements for a unified view.
• Publish a product strategy that outlines base functionality, premium tiers, discontinued projects, and initial AI-powered product candidates.
• Report to the SVP of Product and initially have no direct reports while leading through partnerships.
• A minimum of 7 years in product management.
• At least 2 years of experience specifically in B2B SaaS data products, reporting, or analytics.
• Proven track record of managing customer-facing analytics, including reporting, dashboards, or embedded analytics that are relied upon by paying customers.
• Experience in building analytics that span multiple products or modules.
• Experience in managing a semantic or metric layer across various source systems.
• Ability to serve both small owner/operator businesses and large, sophisticated clients with data teams.
• A history of zero-to-one product development.
• Experience in pricing or packaging analytics capabilities, developing a cost-to-serve model, or being responsible for revenue generation for a data product.
• Technical proficiency to read a schema, write SQL, and assess an API contract.
• Knowledge of the unit economics related to analytics.
• A genuine passion for modeling data, ensuring its reliability, and transforming it into actionable customer decisions.
• A hands-on working style and familiarity with AI tools.
• Preferred: experience in launching AI-driven product surfaces, public-facing benchmarking or aggregate market-intelligence products, usage-based or consumption pricing, cost attribution per customer, or managing customer-facing analytics alongside a small analytics engineering team.
