Principal Product Manager, Agentic Experiences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define the comprehensive model for how agents are identified, activated, transferred, and held accountable to customers.

• Take ownership of shared agentic elements including identity and permissions, context and memory, intent routing, hand-off and escalation, human-in-the-loop approval, transparency and traceability, guardrails, and fallback mechanisms.

• Transform internally developed agents into a unified customer narrative while overseeing the customer journey across various agents.

• Develop the strategy for showcasing agentic capabilities through the customer portal, APIs, MCP servers, connectors, and communication channels.

• Create standardized patterns, quality benchmarks, interaction protocols, and review processes for independently launched agents.

• Establish metrics for measuring task success, completion rates, hand-offs, containment, time-to-value, trust, intervention, conversion, attachment, and retention.

• Construct a multi-quarter roadmap for the connective layer.

• Foster alignment among product, engineering, data, design, care, and marketing teams.

• Collaborate closely with Data & Personalization on context and customer signals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in product management.

• Extensive experience with platform, API, or ecosystem products and customer-facing interactions.

• Proven track record of delivering platform/API/ecosystem products as well as customer-facing experiences.

• Demonstrated responsibility for an AI or agentic product surface in production with real users and accountability for results.

• Technical proficiency in LLM orchestration, tool and function invocation, MCP, RAG, context strategy, evaluations, latency, cost trade-offs, and failure modes.

• Strong judgment in API and platform product management, including interface contracts, versioning, permissions, and developer experience.

• Capability to align senior stakeholders within a matrixed, product-driven organization.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• A strong inclination to deliver results.

• Preferred: experience in hosting, domains, web presence, SMB SaaS, or e-commerce.

• Preferred: experience with agent evaluation and observability tools.

• Preferred: experience in building or publishing MCP servers or public developer platforms.
