This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Act as a reliable technical consultant for customers, partners, and account teams throughout the sales process.
• Collaborate with sales teams to grasp customer needs, formulate account strategies, and pinpoint business opportunities.
• Design, architect, validate, and promote solutions related to networking, cloud, automation, AI-driven infrastructure, and security.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, executive presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Create solution architectures, implementation strategies, migration plans, and engineering bills of materials.
• Manage and provide technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Establish and nurture relationships with customer stakeholders, partners, and decision-makers.
• Guide customers on data center modernization, AI networking, cloud connectivity, WAN transformation, automation, and digital transformation.
• Work alongside Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, and strategic partners to represent customer needs and influence product direction.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitive solutions through customer enablement, technical presentations, mentorship, and professional growth.
• Over 10 years of experience in technical pre-sales, Systems Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Network Engineering, Consulting, or similar customer-facing technical positions.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven experience in designing, architecting, and delivering large-scale Data Center, WAN, Cloud, and Service Provider networking solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of EVPN/VXLAN, spine-leaf and Clos fabrics, underlay/overlay networking, and DCI technologies.
• Strong comprehension of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, Segment Routing, Traffic Engineering, and Layer 2/Layer 3 VPN services.
• Experience in designing and implementing enterprise, cloud, and service provider WAN architectures and cloud connectivity solutions.
• Strong technical knowledge across routing, switching, and network infrastructure technologies.
• Capability to engage technical and business stakeholders through presentations, workshops, and consultative selling efforts.
• Proven experience in preparing technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Practical experience with HPE Networking, Juniper, or other prominent networking platforms and management solutions.
• Desirable experience with network security technologies including NGFW, IPSec, DDoS protection, MACsec, SIEM, and Zero Trust architectures.
• Familiarity with Mist AI, Apstra, Aruba Central, Paragon, or equivalent solutions is a plus.
• Experience with AI infrastructure, AI networking, data center modernization, and large-scale cloud connectivity architectures.
• Proficiency with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with virtualization, containerization, Kubernetes, VMware, OpenStack, and cloud-native technologies.
• Knowledge of Python, Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs, YANG, and NETCONF.
• Industry certifications such as JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP, CCIE, AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent technical certifications.
