Principal Pharmacokinetics Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design of study concepts and protocols.

• Develop clinical pharmacology plans and formulate modeling and simulation strategies.

• Perform PK-PD, Pop PK-PD, and associated analyses that support clinical trials.

• Analyze and synthesize data for regulatory submissions, clinical publications, and presentations.

• Offer technical expertise in the use of PK/PD data analysis software.

• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

• Prepare and evaluate PK/PD analysis documentation.

• Apply pharmaceutical regulatory standards to ensure compliant submissions.

• Mentor junior pharmacologists and implement best practices within the team.

• Keep abreast of advancements in clinical pharmacology.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, life sciences, clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, or a related field, with at least 3 years of pertinent research or clinical experience in clinical pharmacology and pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.

• PharmD in a relevant area with a minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical pharmacology and PK/PD modeling and simulation.

• Alternatively, a Master’s degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 7 years of pertinent experience in Clinical Pharmacology and Modeling & Simulation.

• Strong expertise in pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, translational sciences, and PK/PD data analysis.

• Practical experience and proficiency with Phoenix WinNonlin, NLME, R/R Studio, Monolix, and NONMEM.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of conveying complex data to both scientific and non-scientific audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

• Preferred: experience across diverse therapeutic areas.

• Preferred: previous experience in a CRO setting.

• Relevant certifications are advantageous.
