
Principal Oracle EBS Integration Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Design and take ownership of the integration architecture linking the Agentic ERP Platform with Oracle E-Business Suite.
• Establish the Oracle EBS tool taxonomy, which includes APIs, PL/SQL procedures, and interface table operations for agent usage.
• Create ISG REST wrapper patterns for EBS.
• Manage transaction boundaries by designing commit/rollback strategies, concurrent request handling, and ensuring data consistency.
• Enforce secure Park/Post patterns with draft/hold and post/submit options for each EBS write tool.
• Implement a tiered autonomy progression system for EBS tools: Read, Draft, Supervised, and Autonomous.
• Develop and manage Oracle EBS connectors that translate platform requests into API calls, interface table inserts, or submissions of concurrent programs.
• Apply EBS-specific data validation and transformation logic.
• Design fallback mechanisms, which include degraded-mode read-only access and queued write operations.
• Build EBS connection management featuring JDBC connection pooling, credential management, and support for multiple instances.
• Act as the Oracle EBS subject matter expert for the engineering team.
• Provide guidance to MCP Server Developers regarding EBS-specific tool implementations, schema design, and response patterns.
• Develop EBS integration test strategies, mock environments, data fixtures, and regression test suites.
• Document EBS integration patterns, their limitations, and troubleshooting guidelines.
• Offer insights on future integration approaches with JD Edwards and Siebel.
• Collaborate with the SAP Integration Lead to ensure consistent integration patterns and shared tooling.
• Partner with AI Data Engineers for extracting Oracle data for knowledge pipelines and retrieval systems.
• Coordinate with QA Engineers to ensure integration test coverage and validation.
• Advise the Security & Identity Lead on Oracle authentication and authorization needs.
• Report directly to the VP of Platform Engineering.
• Over 12 years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite, showcasing in-depth knowledge of EBS modules, APIs, and data architecture.
• More than 5 years of experience in integration engineering, focused on building APIs, connectors, or middleware for enterprise systems.
• Practical experience with EBS integration interfaces, including PL/SQL APIs, interface tables, concurrent programs, and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
• Proven experience in designing integration architectures for intricate, multi-module EBS implementations.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite APIs, interface tables, concurrent programs, and module data models.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL for database-level integration and ISG REST wrapper development.
• Familiarity with Java 21 and Quarkus 3.x.
• Experience in RESTful API design and implementation.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of OpenTelemetry.
• Competence in transaction management, including commit/rollback strategies, idempotency, and concurrency handling.
• Experience with Git version control and CI/CD practices.
• Skills in integration test design, mock services, and contract testing.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in Portuguese is an advantage.
• Oracle certifications (OCA, OCP, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) are advantageous.
