Associate Director – Infrastructure and Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +8 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead engineers in the integration of current and future subsidiaries into enterprise technologies, processes, and teams.

• Manage 14 extensive technology platforms throughout the subsidiary integration within the M&A pipeline.

• Design and develop IT infrastructure architecture solutions that align with the enterprise architecture direction and standards.

• Utilize an understanding of how organizational capabilities connect across various departments.

• Provide ownership of infrastructure and platforms across distributed computing, hypervisors, server operating systems, public cloud, storage, databases, DNS/DHCP, Active Directory, PKI, monitoring, and automation/orchestration.

• Conduct technical planning and architecture development while modifying specifications as needed.

• Create specifications for new IT infrastructure products and service offerings.

• Evaluate the compatibility and integration of proposed standard products and services.

• Address complex technical and operational challenges.

• Potentially oversee multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.

• Integrate strategy with tactics through associates and various contractor teams.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in infrastructure and public cloud.

• At least 2 years of experience in project leadership.

• A minimum of 2 years of management experience.

• Experience in integrating new technologies with existing systems.

• Proven experience in implementing technologies that have an enterprise-wide impact.

• A strong passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously enhancing consumer experiences.

• A Master's Degree in a Technical Field is preferred.

• Agile, PMP, or PMI certification is preferred.

• IT M&A integration experience is preferred.

• Hands-on and leadership experience with distributed computing hardware, hypervisors, server operating systems, supporting tools, public cloud IaaS/PaaS, block/file/backup storage, distributed databases, DNS/DHCP, Microsoft Active Directory, PKI, infrastructure/platform monitoring, and infrastructure/platform automation/orchestration (IaC) is preferred.

• Technical certifications in the specified technology domains are preferred.

• Home internet service with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.

• A dedicated workspace free from interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
