This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Perform a continuous audit of research gaps throughout the Lemnis collective companies.
β’ Develop and prioritize a comprehensive research agenda in collaboration with business leaders.
β’ Design various studies, including randomized controlled trials (RCTs), quasi-experimental designs, longitudinal analyses, social network analysis, and psychometric/survey research.
β’ Integrate behavioral science frameworks into products and messaging.
β’ Create measurement models focused on engagement, belonging, self-efficacy, purpose, and future readiness.
β’ Ensure methodological integrity, ethical implementation, and compliance with CEAI standards.
β’ Establish justifiable attribution standards and align studies with acknowledged evidence benchmarks.
β’ Convert research outcomes into actionable product and feature recommendations.
β’ Collaborate with teams to incorporate behavioral science into features, messaging, and user experiences.
β’ Focus on research-supported product opportunities and assess feature performance after launch.
β’ Provide Sales and Marketing with research-based proof points, ROI narratives, and evidence resources.
β’ Assist in RFPs, renewals, competitive positioning, thought leadership, case studies, and marketing campaigns.
β’ Contribute to frameworks, white papers, and standards for the Center for Ethical AI.
β’ Represent Lemnis research at conferences, gatherings, and partner events.
β’ Align research agendas between internal teams and partner-embedded initiatives.
β’ Cultivate relationships across Lemnis companies and mentor research scientists and analysts.
β’ PhD in psychology, learning sciences, education, or a related behavioral science discipline.
β’ Over 8 years of experience in designing and implementing applied research, including randomized controlled trials, quasi-experimental designs, and mixed-methods studies.
β’ Extensive knowledge in belonging, identity, motivation, and social-emotional development, and their impact on student engagement and persistence.
β’ Proficiency in advanced quantitative methods, such as structural equation modeling and social network analysis.
β’ Experience in qualitative research methodologies, including interviews, focus groups, and narrative and digital storytelling techniques.
β’ Background in educational technology, particularly in assessment and efficacy research or large-scale learning outcomes studies.
β’ Proven ability to translate research findings into product-related decisions.
β’ Experience creating evidence assets that bolster sales, partnerships, or business development efforts.
β’ Understanding of ethical AI principles, IRB processes, and responsible research practices within education.
β’ Comfort in navigating across multiple companies or business units and synthesizing evidence into a cohesive, portfolio-wide narrative.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Insight into how K-12 districts and post-secondary institutions make decisions and define success (preferred).
