This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Assist in both pre-sales and post-sales technical scoping activities.
• Contribute to the Rough Order of Magnitude estimates for infrastructure, software platforms, and user migration projects.
• Design and implement technical solutions across various platforms including virtualization, server, storage, database, and network.
• Take ownership of assigned projects from the design phase through to delivery.
• Engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at client organizations.
• Act as the execution-level lead for datacenter migrations, disaster recovery initiatives, and cloud migrations.
• Manage client expectations concerning project scope, timelines, sequencing, and prioritization.
• Collaborate with project resources and subject matter experts to break down tasks, create estimates, and develop planning.
• Oversee and follow up with assigned project resources to ensure work remains on schedule.
• Provide project management support and organizational structure.
• Uphold internal Solution Architecture standards, maintain runbooks, and ensure comprehensive documentation.
• Offer technical escalation support when necessary.
• Work across both cloud-based and on-premise enterprise infrastructure.
• Assist clients with emerging technologies and strategic planning initiatives.
• Guide account delivery teams on best practices for managed services.
• Extensive knowledge of enterprise virtualization technologies (VMware/vSphere), server hardware, SAN, etc.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including firewalls, load balancers, VLANs, and routing concepts.
• Basic understanding of enterprise database systems such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL.
• Proven ability to work independently on defined technical projects.
• Strong critical thinking capabilities in ambiguous and undocumented environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Dedication to best practices that foster team continuity.
• U.S. Citizenship and residency are mandatory.
