Principal Interface Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide training to both internal and external customers while addressing common and complex issues.

• Handle interface web tickets and set up end-users for customers with diverse technical expertise.

• Design, implement, and support software components for customer workflows.

• Collaborate with Development, QA, Support, and other internal and external teams to assist customers.

• Serve as an escalation point for support, implementation, and interface team members.

• Create technical documentation for both internal and external use, facilitating knowledge transfer within the team.

• Construct and maintain interfaces for all Deliver Health clients.

• Develop custom interfaces and filters as needed.

• Oversee, manage, and document actions and solutions within the Deliver Health ticketing system.

• Stay informed about current software versions and known issues.

• Monitor the ticketing system and manage customer or internal user-submitted emails.

• Address issues directly or refer them to the appropriate team member, escalating to management or other departments when necessary.

• Complete mandatory training sessions and learning events.

• Provide training for partners and end customers as required.

• Execute other assigned tasks or projects.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience in a technical setting, healthcare industry, or customer support position.

• Strong understanding of back-end processes and workflows specific to the platform.

• Excellent and professional communication abilities.

• Robust critical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

• Reliable and punctual in work commitments.

• Positive demeanor and capacity to perform well under pressure.

• Strong interpersonal skills coupled with outstanding customer service abilities.

• Detail-oriented and adept at navigating various standards and processes.

• Advanced problem-solving expertise with Windows 11 or later.

• Knowledge specific to the platform.

• Experience with workflow configuration templates.

• Competency in reporting.

• Proficiency in MS Office.

• Familiarity with online collaboration tools.

• Experience with the Deliver Health ticketing system.

• Understanding of networking and network topology within business or medical settings.

• Database knowledge, including SQL, Oracle, or Access.

• Experience with middleware/interfacing systems, including EMR interfaces.

• Proficient in one or more programming languages relevant to the platform, such as XML, SQL, scripting, RTF, HTML, or HL7.

• An Associate degree in Computer Science or a minimum of 5 years of pertinent work experience.

• Relevant certifications are considered advantageous.
