This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Directly report to the OpsGuru Leadership team.
• Engage with a variety of audiences, from CEOs to developers, discussing every phase of the technology adoption cycle across various technical domains.
• Identify and implement artificial intelligence opportunities to enhance infrastructure delivery and streamline internal consultancy processes.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for multiple accounts in the realm of public cloud infrastructure and data enablement.
• Provide thought leadership, guiding and challenging clients with respect.
• Supervise project teams to ensure alignment of technical outcomes with client business challenges, budgets, and timelines.
• Collaborate with Engagement Managers, project teams, and customers to oversee project scope, set expectations, and ensure quality delivery.
• Participate in the sales process, including pre-sales activities.
• Work alongside Account Executives and Presales Architects to define engagements and draft statements of work.
• Support account management activities.
• Potentially oversee around five Architects and Engineers through one-on-one meetings, professional development, goal-setting, feedback, and performance assessments.
• Address administrative or project-related issues and offer recommendations for performance evaluations and promotions.
• Over 10 years of experience in a relevant information technology setting.
• More than 5 years of experience in delivering professional services as a Principal Consultant or in a comparable leadership position.
• Expertise in infrastructure and platform workloads on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience in public-cloud infrastructure adoption or cloud migration for both enterprise and small-to-medium-scale environments.
• Proficient in IaaS, networking, and security.
• Familiarity with data platform or analytics infrastructure on public cloud, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Fabric, and Synapse.
• Knowledge of microservices adoption on public cloud platforms, such as AKS and Azure Container Apps.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code, particularly with Terraform and Bicep.
• Experience optimizing public-cloud infrastructure costs.
• Proven track record of utilizing AI tools and LLMs to streamline workflows and automate repetitive architectural tasks.
• History of delivering presentations to CxO and VP-level executives.
• Capable of managing multiple intricate projects and diverse stakeholders simultaneously.
• Sales experience, preferably in a pre-sales capacity.
• Ability to model costs and articulate the total cost of ownership for public-cloud hosting solutions.
• Experience addressing customer requests and escalations.
• Familiarity with Identity Management and Active Directory.
• Ability to tailor communication styles to suit individual team members.
• Capability to communicate the company’s mission and values effectively to customers.
• Skill in providing honest and constructive feedback.
• Ownership of team challenges until resolution.
• Ability to build trust and establish professional relationships.
• Proficiency in conducting gap-analysis conversations and assisting team members in defining effective goals.
