Principal Information Systems Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Participate actively as a team member in the management of complex and high-visibility resource management and program resource forecasting tools.

• Develop comprehensive project execution plans while identifying necessary technical and business resources.

• Define roles, responsibilities, and engagement models for matrixed teams.

• Ensure timely project completion within budget constraints while meeting technical, security, and business requirements.

• Offer guidance to project teams by applying IT and project management principles.

• Integrate current IT best practices, methodologies, and tools into project strategies and their execution.

• Identify and formulate solution approaches under general supervision.

• Make project-level decisions concerning risk management, priorities, and resource allocation.

• Oversee the delivery of information systems and services, collaborating across design, development, security, testing, and deployment phases.

• Engage with cross-sector and external stakeholders to address challenging technical issues.

• Create and implement plans for business readiness and change management, which include communications, training, and adoption strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; 3 years with a Master’s; 1 year with a PhD; or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.

• Proven experience in leading IT projects or programs that span multiple functional organizations.

• Capability to work under general direction and independently determine solution approaches.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Experience in collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams.

• U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions that involve government clearance and certain other restricted roles.
