This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +9 more states.
• Oversee complex projects and offer project management support and technical review across various technical fields.
• Make decisions and prepare key proposals and contracts.
• Draft intricate engineering reports that include professional insights and practical geotechnical solutions.
• Conduct engineering analyses utilizing both company-specific and industry-standard methodologies, formulas, and software tools.
• Engage with federal and state regulatory bodies on intricate projects.
• Create and deliver presentations for clients while assisting in marketing strategies and initiatives.
• Address client requirements through effective communication and involvement in proposal/project tasks.
• Oversee client contracts with support from corporate legal teams.
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with both internal and external clients.
• Promote Braun Intertec services to potential clients.
• Coordinate project tasks with engineers and technicians.
• Evaluate drawings from vendors, clients, engineers, and architects, suggesting necessary modifications.
• Review engineering outputs and technical reports.
• Identify and resolve complex issues effectively.
• Lead project teams, including both engineering and field support staff.
• Mentor, manage, and develop technical personnel.
• Assess and mitigate risks in accordance with established procedures and protocols.
• Act as a technical leader and resource, representing Braun Intertec both internally and externally.
• Adhere to and communicate safety requirements for projects.
• Travel locally and across the United States, up to 25% of the time.
• Bachelor's Degree in civil or geotechnical engineering, or a closely related field.
• At least 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience in professional consulting services.
• Proven experience in managing client relationships and generating new business.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
• ND PE Certification is mandatory.
• Strong strategic thinking and leadership capabilities.
• Innovative and creative problem-solving skills.
• Capability to mentor less experienced engineers.
• Ability to influence, delegate, and develop team members effectively.
• Established reputation for technical leadership within the industry at regional or national levels.
• Exceptional problem-solving, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Proficient in interpreting business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
• Competence in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to understand technical instructions presented in mathematical or diagrammatic form.
• Skill in fostering positive client relationships.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and maintain attention to detail.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in creating, maintaining, and communicating project budgets.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.
