Principal Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic oversight for intricate NetSuite ERP implementations

• Ensure that solutions are scalable and aligned with overarching enterprise objectives

• Act as the lead consultant for medium to large-scale clients

• Take ownership of the overall solution architecture and consulting methodology

• Facilitate discovery sessions and deliver presentations at the executive level

• Review and authorize solution designs developed by fellow consultants

• Offer feedback and mentorship to consultants

• Step in for high-complexity technical or functional tasks when required

• Oversee the planning and strategy for data migration

• Ensure consistency between client expectations, project schedules, and team deliverables

• Support business development by defining enterprise project scopes and contributing to proposals

• Assist in pre-sales initiatives

• Serve as an escalation point for client-related issues

• Guide resolution strategies and maintain strategic client relationships

• Mentor senior and mid-level consultants

• Establish and uphold consulting standards, methodologies, and documentation practices across projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline

• At least 5 years of experience in a consulting capacity, with an emphasis on ERP systems

• Demonstrated success in overseeing ERP implementations for medium to large clients (50 to 500 users)

• Advanced NetSuite certifications (e.g., ERP Consultant, SuiteCloud Developer II)

• Capability to lead strategic projects, cultivate client relationships, and manage cross-functional teams

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and facilitation abilities

• Capacity to influence and align executive stakeholders

• Extensive understanding of ERP best practices and scalable solution design

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Experience in directing and mentoring teams across multiple concurrent projects

• Knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and middleware platforms such as Dell Boomi and Celigo

• Experience in managing budgets, timelines, and resource allocations in multi-phase ERP rollouts

• Expertise in developing solution governance standards and quality assurance frameworks
