This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Enhance operational efficiency, resilience, and process quality by developing scalable AI automation architecture standards and governance frameworks.
• Expedite transformation delivery and minimize rework through well-defined design frameworks, decision models, and reusable automation templates.
• Improve the experience of both employees and customers by decreasing manual tasks, process fragmentation, and automation risks.
• Integrate AI-first architectural methodologies that boost automation scale, decision-making quality, and measurable business results.
• Oversee the assessment of AI automation, agentic workflows, and transformation projects throughout the organization.
• Establish architectural decision frameworks and long-term platform strategies for n8n, Boomi, APIs, event-driven orchestration, and AI services to minimize duplication and enhance reuse.
• Create governance frameworks for AI-enabled workflows, agents, prompts, models, data flows, and human-in-the-loop controls to ensure scalability, reliability, auditability, and responsible usage.
• Proactively identify growth, compliance, security, and operational risks associated with automation platforms and transformation initiatives before they arise.
• Shape cross-functional roadmaps alongside AI Automation Engineers, BSAs, and business leaders based on architectural trade-offs, platform compatibility, and measurable outcomes.
• Convert enterprise capability requirements into clear, actionable technical designs that expedite AI automation delivery.
• Develop architectural blueprints for intelligent workflows, agentic process patterns, and cross-system orchestration that eliminate ambiguity and reduce rework.
• Design secure, scalable, and resilient automation patterns across SaaS systems, internal platforms, APIs, data ecosystems, and AI/ML services.
• Advocate for API-first, event-driven, and human-in-the-loop architecture standards that enhance interoperability, control, and long-term maintainability.
• Conduct architecture reviews and represent the AI automation and transformation strategy in executive and cross-functional discussions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (mandatory).
• Over 10 years of experience in solution, enterprise, or platform architecture roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with contemporary automation and integration platforms (iPaaS and workflow orchestration tools).
• Experience in architecting for platforms such as n8n, Boomi, or similar systems like Mulesoft/Workato, or equivalent automation ecosystems.
• Proven experience in designing AI-enabled, API-driven, and event-based architectures for enterprise workflows and transformation projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of automation patterns, middleware, data transformation, agent orchestration, and human-in-the-loop workflow design.
• Solid knowledge of REST, webhooks, OAuth, SSO, API security, and governance best practices applicable to AI-enabled systems.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and AI/ML services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction across the enterprise and collaborate effectively with AI Automation Engineers, BSAs, and cross-functional leaders.
