Principal Engineer – SAP Analytics Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design, development, and execution of data and analytics solutions based on SAP.

• Craft and construct reports and dashboards utilizing SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Collect reporting needs and transform functional requirements into technical designs while building components.

• Develop and sustain data models that support diverse reporting demands.

• Consolidate data from various sources into SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Implement best practices in data visualization for departmental leaders and C-Level executives.

• Collaborate closely with IT, Finance, the Data Team, clients, and other cross-functional departments to synchronize reporting requirements.

• Operate both independently and as part of a collaborative cross-functional team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience working with SAP.

• Advanced proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

• Demonstrated experience in designing and creating reports and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Strong comprehension of dashboarding and reporting within SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Capability to gather requirements and translate functional needs into technical designs while building components.

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud, BW/4HANA, and other SAP analytical tools.

• Proficiency in creating and managing data models for reporting purposes.

• Experience in integrating data from multiple sources into SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Solid understanding of CDS data models.

• Ability to create professional dashboards, charts, and link with SAC Analysis for Office.

• Strong skills in data visualization.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously and efficiently within a cross-functional team environment.

• Knowledge of SAP CDS Views, SAP embedded BW, SAP Analytics Cloud Application Design, and SAP BW on HANA are advantageous skills.
