📋 Description

• Lead and guide the engineering team in executing and achieving our ambitious roadmap.

• Function at the intersection of hands-on software development, high-level design, and technical leadership.

• Collaborate with the CTO to establish engineering direction on both macro and micro levels.

• Serve as the primary engineer at Valid, making essential technical decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on system architecture for large-scale, high-performance distributed systems.

• More than 3 years of experience leading technical teams, establishing engineering standards, and influencing architectural decisions in an agile setting.

• Expertise in Python (our primary programming language) and a deep-rooted commitment to engineering best practices (e.g., CI/CD, testing, fault-tolerance).

• Practical experience in managing and deploying cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) along with orchestration tools (e.g., k8s, Docker).

• Strong knowledge of AI and machine learning platforms/APIs, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and algorithms.

• Proven track record of optimizing technical outcomes that consider engineering, product, and business partner requirements.
