This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Manage and implement various large-scale low- and medium-voltage power distribution projects concurrently.
• Independently carry out project deliverables while staying within defined scope, timelines, and budgetary limits.
• Diagnose issues in electrical distribution systems, create new designs, and execute upgrade projects.
• Conduct load analyses and utilize power quality meters to assess and enhance system performance.
• Act as a subject matter expert for electrical distribution equipment from manufacturers such as S&C, G&W, and Eaton.
• Coordinate electrical engineering and design work in accordance with IEEE, NFPA, and client specifications.
• Provide advanced technical expertise in project proposals.
• Evaluate the overall quality of work performed.
• Mentor and train junior staff through guidance and project leadership.
• Assist in formulating and executing strategies to maintain and enhance business relationships with key clients.
• Collaborate with various ESCO Group business units to integrate power, controls, and automation solutions effectively.
• Sustain professional relationships with clients.
• Utilize, support, and improve ESCO standards and best practices.
• Adhere to safety, conduct, and policy requirements of ESCO and clients.
• Be prepared for up to 25% overnight travel for services at out-of-town client locations.
• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution, along with ten or more years of relevant work experience, or equivalent education and/or experience demonstrating success.
• Comprehension of intricate electrical principles and solutions.
• High proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Expertise in power distribution and design.
• Experience in protective relay programming.
• Proficiency in communication networks.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD software.
• Preferred qualification: Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer.
• Self-motivated with initiative and resourcefulness.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% overnight to out-of-town client facilities.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairs and/or ladders and walk long distances while carrying equipment.
• Capacity to work around moving mechanical parts, electrical shock hazards, vibrations, wet or humid conditions, heights, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold and heat, and in very loud environments.
• All necessary personal protective equipment is supplied to meet and, in some cases, exceed OSHA regulations.
