Principal Delivery Strategy and Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with leaders in Services Sales and Delivery to transform broad inquiries into precise problem statements and actionable plans.

• Examine the connections between systems, tools, incentives, and behaviors throughout the services lifecycle, with a focus on root causes.

• Take initiative from concept to completion while coordinating with teams across the organization.

• Develop frameworks to evaluate scenarios and comprehend trade-offs, converting business questions into analytical needs.

• Work alongside analytics and technical teams to create models and outputs that facilitate confident decision-making.

• Recognize opportunities where advanced analytics and machine learning can enhance forecasting and delivery processes.

• Design and implement business processes where none currently exist.

• Create metrics, routines, decision-making processes, and broader enhancements to streamline, standardize, and scale the organization.

• Coordinate with Delivery, Finance, and Regional Operations on priority alignment.

• Specify dashboard and reporting needs for various audiences, striking a balance between accuracy and practicality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in management consulting, strategy & operations, or business operations.

• Proven experience in resolving complex multi-team issues and engaging with senior or executive leaders.

• Exceptional analytical and Excel proficiency, including modeling and scenario analysis.

• Familiarity with BI tools; experience with Power BI or Sigma is preferred.

• Experience collaborating with data and engineering teams.

• A systems-thinking mindset that assesses second- and third-order effects and constructively challenges assumptions.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify intricate topics.

• Capability to work independently in uncertain environments.

• Bonus: Experience in Professional Services, consulting, or subscription-based businesses.

• Bonus: Knowledge of forecasting, scoring models, validation, and collaboration with data science on ML projects.
