This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +43 more states.
• Lead comprehensive statistical research to validate member outcomes.
• Provide quantitative assessments to inform decisions on emerging growth opportunities.
• Derive knowledge and insights from data through preparation, modeling, analysis, and visualization techniques.
• Design, construct, and sustain causal inference studies that evaluate member-level clinical outcomes.
• Develop and confirm proof-of-concepts utilizing health plan data and Signify's in-home insights.
• Transform vague business inquiries into structured analytical methodologies.
• Perform sizing analyses for new products and partnership opportunities.
• Advocate for analytics best practices, encompassing engineering standards, version control, code reviews, documented pipelines, and standardized data sources.
• Collaborate with analytic leaders and data professionals throughout Signify.
• Mentor analytics talent within the organization.
• Rigorously test methodologies and hypotheses across the active portfolio.
• Present analytical findings directly to Signify's Executive Leadership Team and other executives.
• Over 10 years of practical experience in Decision Science, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or a closely related quantitative discipline.
• Proficient in SQL and have strong Python capabilities.
• Experience in analyzing extensive and intricate datasets.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis, modeling, automation, and visualization techniques.
• Strong expertise in applied statistics and advanced analytics, including hypothesis testing, regression, experimental design/A-B testing, predictive modeling, and other related quantitative methods.
• Proven experience with causal inference and impact assessment.
• Expertise in healthcare/payer data, including claims, enrollment, utilization, laboratory, SDOH, or other member-level healthcare datasets.
• Excellent business and executive communication skills.
• Experience with Snowflake and/or contemporary cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Working knowledge of data engineering and scalable analytical datasets, including ETL/ELT processes and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Experience in establishing or enhancing analytics/Decision Science best practices and developing reusable analytical resources.
• Demonstrated executive presence and strong written communication skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• Familiarity with CMS risk adjustment and Stars quality methodologies.
• Experience in building, validating, or deploying machine learning models or proof-of-concepts.
• Experience utilizing machine learning and predictive modeling in conjunction with causal inference.
• Experience working with unstructured clinical and/or provider data.
• Experience applying decision science to complex problems in healthcare, payer, provider, or healthcare operations.
• Experience functioning in highly ambiguous environments and independently defining analytical strategies.
