This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Provide guidance to Global Public Sector clients on Salesforce Data 360, Agentforce, and the wider enterprise data and AI landscape.
• Offer insights on enterprise data and AI relevant to public sector missions.
• Articulate the advantages of the Salesforce platform to stakeholders in defense, federal, state, local, higher education, and nonprofit sectors.
• Collaborate with sales teams and solution groups to identify mission challenges and formulate technical strategies.
• Assess feasibility, security posture, and cost-effectiveness.
• Facilitate customer architectural discussions regarding data structures, AI readiness, identity management, governance, integration, automation, compliance, and mission value.
• Create demos, prototypes, proofs of concept, reference patterns, and conduct architectural walkthroughs.
• Enhance judgment on solutions within the public sector data and AI domains.
• Transform field insights into reusable resources, enablement strategies, best practices, and product feedback.
• Work in partnership with Product, Engineering, Support, delivery, customer, seller, partner, and stakeholder teams.
• Over 7 years of experience in technical architecture, enterprise architecture, solution engineering, consulting, implementation, software engineering, product development, or similar roles in complex enterprise settings.
• Preferred experience in defense, federal/civilian, state, local, higher education, or nonprofit sectors.
• Proven track record of shaping technical strategies with clients and/or stakeholders.
• Experience in validating solution approaches and aligning mission or business requirements with technology decisions.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data, AI, integration, governance, security, privacy, and platform architecture concepts and patterns.
• Familiarity with public sector compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, StateRAMP, CJIS, and NIST is advantageous.
• Experience collaborating with Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, and delivery or customer teams.
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to both executive and technical audiences.
• Demonstrated curiosity and rapid learning in emerging technologies related to AI, data, automation, and agentic systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, another STEM field, or equivalent work experience.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Beneficial experience with Salesforce Data 360, Agentforce, MuleSoft, Tableau, Informatica, Salesforce Platform, AWS/AWS GovCloud, Microsoft/Azure Government, Palantir, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, RedShift, Python, AI governance, identity/access frameworks, prototypes, proofs of concept, workshops, reference architectures, or field enablement resources.
