This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +3 more countries.
• Collaborate with the Global Head of RWD Data Strategy & Technical Solutions and the broader RWD team to grasp changes in RWD requirements and their impact on strategy and product development.
• Identify use cases and requirements to respond to advancements in technology and clinical practices.
• Review medical literature, guidelines, and clinical information sources to pinpoint changes influencing RWD requirements.
• Track developments in AI technology that affect clinical interpretation, data generation, clinical analyses, and interpretation.
• Define and convert clinical concepts and requirements into precise data definitions.
• Work closely with technical and business leaders to improve RWD solutions.
• Establish analyses that confirm the scientific and clinical accuracy and relevance of Labcorp's RWD data and solutions.
• Collaborate with Labcorp clinical and scientific experts to refine data definitions, analyses, and interpretations.
• Identify and deploy AI solutions for clinical translation and data/product workflows.
• Act as the primary resource for cohort and feature definition as well as clinical inquiries within the RWD team.
• Promote continuous improvement to boost engagement, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure timely handling and resolution of clinical inquiries in data and product development and delivery.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare practitioners, academic institutions, and industry professionals.
• Present use cases, definitions, and interpretations of RWD content to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in congress and publication strategy and collaborate on external scientific communications.
• Attend key congresses to showcase findings and engage with clinical leaders.
• A healthcare professional degree (e.g., MD, PharmD) with at least 3 years of clinical practice experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in RWD/RWE and/or healthcare analytics.
• Preferred: postgraduate research experience in Life Sciences (e.g., Masters, PhD).
• Proven experience in publishing scientific research and/or presenting at medical congresses on RWD/E topics.
• Comprehensive knowledge of real-world data and the life sciences/healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and data privacy regulations and best practices.
• In-depth understanding of medical coding ontologies (e.g., ICD-10, NDC, RxNorm).
• Knowledge and experience in utilizing AI tools for data generation, interpretation, and validation.
• Capability to work effectively in a cross-functional setting with clinical, business, and technical teams, as well as external partners/collaborators.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
• Strong skills in planning, multitasking, and prioritization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Critical thinking and sound decision-making skills.

• Full-time, exempt (salaried) position.
