This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Deliver advanced engineering, sales, educational, and technical assistance for intricate EP product inquiries.
• Serve as the primary clinical liaison between the medical community and the organization.
• Establish and maintain trustworthy business relationships with clients.
• Identify and communicate customer needs, product performance insights, and sales opportunities to sales representatives, directors, and management.
• Provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support for complex field inquiries on a 24-hour on-call basis.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of EP products, relevant technical knowledge, trends, and market participants.
• Design, lead, and conduct EP product training sessions for healthcare professionals.
• Offer market feedback and strategic guidance on next-generation product components to management.
• Provide regional EP implant case coverage for designated accounts.
• Support EP Sales Representatives by offering sales assistance, regional training seminars, clinical studies/data collection, troubleshooting, and new-product in-service training.
• Mentor and lead EP clinical support staff.
• Enhance engineering, sales, and technical capabilities in line with the Arrhythmia Management strategy.
• Collaborate with Training and Education departments to develop advanced seminars and educational materials.
• Assist Sales with high-level product demonstrations.
• Monitor developments, regulatory requirements, company and competitor products, market objectives, and industry trends.
• Resolve issues and facilitate preventive measures.
• Carry out related assigned responsibilities.
• A minimum of 6 years of clinical experience (internal or external).
• Previous industry/competitive experience is required if external.
• Fully dedicated to EP.
• Must have been in a Senior EP Clinical Specialist role for 2 years.
• At least 1 of the last 2 performance ratings must indicate exceeds expectations.
• IBHRE EP certification is required.
• Capability to independently perform the most complex EP cases.
• Ability to mentor and train EP Clinical Specialists and CA Clinical Specialists on intricate mapping cases.
• Competence in conducting complex customer education events to demonstrate the value proposition of the complete ABT portfolio.
• Revenue per case should exceed the national average.
• Must perform in the top half of the number of cases completed within the clinical group at the time of promotion in the defined Region/Area.
• Confirmation that you will meet all vendor credentialing requirements, which may include COVID-19 vaccination.
• Willingness and ability to fulfill 24-hour on-call support responsibilities and travel 50% of the time.
