Principal Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Identify high-value AI use cases within CVS Health and transform them into products.

• Design and architect each AI system from start to finish.

• Create product requirements, design documents, and architecture decision records.

• Develop production implementations utilizing AI coding agents.

• Collaborate with platform and system owners to seamlessly integrate AI applications.

• Utilize extensive engineering expertise to assess AI-generated code.

• Mentor other architects and senior engineers on applied-AI coding methodologies.

• Publish architecture decision records and reference implementations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture.

• 8+ years working at the architectural level.

• 2+ years of experience in building and deploying production AI applications using LLMs.

• Practical experience with at least one major foundation model provider.

• Proficient in Python and at least one other production language (TypeScript, Java, Go, or similar).

• Strong understanding of system design principles across distributed systems.

• Excellent product intuition.

• Proven history of successfully shipping AI applications to production.
