This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure that infrastructure activities are in accordance with the Business Architecture framework, IT strategy, strategic drivers, and established standards.

• Collaborate with Client Strategy, PMO, Implementation, and Onboarding teams to integrate client technologies and outline future network, computing, and storage infrastructure.

• Evaluate system requirements and designs against industry best practices, technological advancements, standards, and business necessities.

• Provide guidance on practical and cost-efficient system architecture solutions.

• Adhere to and uphold VC3 standards and processes.

• Advise Client Strategic Advisors and clients on IT methodologies and strategies.

• Develop and sustain a catalog of VC3's technical capabilities, technologies, and platforms while identifying overlaps and gaps.

• Create proposals that deliver value by addressing business drivers and challenges, and support technical sales cycles.

• Oversee internal proposal requests to ensure comprehensive and suitable solutions.

• Generate high-level architecture blueprints that direct the implementation of client projects.

• Conduct situation-analysis assessments regarding reliability, capacity growth, backups, and relevant architectural standards.

• Analyze technical requirements to ascertain infrastructure designs, potential challenges, and associated costs.

• Engage in Project Implementation Reviews.

• Keep abreast of industry standards, software and data innovations, architectural trends, and technology vendors.

• Update product lines, standard labor and product templates, and high-level review documents.

• Maintain precise timesheets and notes related to troubleshooting and client communications.

• Escalate complex issues as necessary.

• Take part in team huddles, L10 meetings, one-on-ones, training sessions, and other team discussions.

• Clearly communicate with clients and colleagues while collaborating across VC3 departments to enhance client satisfaction.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or a diploma, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 5+ years of direct experience in supporting and maintaining Server, Storage, Network & Backups in SMB environments.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Capability to comprehend and analyze complex issues.

• Self-driven, detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept at managing diverse responsibilities efficiently.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster effective working relationships, encourage cooperation, and resolve conflicts.

• Ability to collaborate across various IT disciplines.

• Outstanding communication skills, including documentation, visualization, presentation to diverse audiences, and a balance of speaking and listening.

• Advanced understanding of identity, directory services, authentication/authorization methods, single sign-on, access management, encryption, data privacy, backup, and disaster recovery.

• Expert knowledge in computing, storage, networking, load balancing, scalability, and availability.

• Intermediate practical experience with cloud platform strategies and implementations, including PaaS, SaaS, HaaS, and IaaS in Microsoft Azure.

• Intermediate understanding of Microsoft licensing models for Azure and on-premises infrastructure.

• Strong experience in identifying and addressing non-functional requirements such as response times, availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and data retention.

• Proven track record in architecting and developing solutions for mission-critical operations, high availability, backup, restore, and disaster recovery.

• Must fulfill Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) requirements after employment.

• Must successfully complete criminal and department of motor vehicles background checks if selected.
