Principal AI Engineering Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the technical roadmap for AI engineering, concentrating on leveraging the latest advancements in machine learning to assist our clients in efficiently identifying and mitigating threats.

• Act as a vital representative of AI Engineering on the Architecture Board, contributing to the overarching architectural strategy for the SentinelOne Platform and Services.

• Comprehend and establish strategies to facilitate cross-domain requirements for utilizing AI Platform and Services throughout SentinelOne.

• Function as a leading individual contributor while also mentoring across distributed teams, promoting a culture of technical excellence and ongoing innovation.

• Create and develop brand-new AI capabilities for integration into SentinelOne's industry-leading cybersecurity platform.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration among various engineering teams to ensure smooth integration and innovation in AI-driven cybersecurity products.

• Supervise the implementation of best practices in MLOps, security, and performance monitoring to guarantee the reliability and effectiveness of our AI defense systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• 15 or more years of progressive experience in software or machine learning engineering.

• A proven history of delivering multiple high-scale, production-ready AI or data products from initial concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance.

• Extensive expertise in constructing highly available, low-latency machine learning systems, with experience in machine learning workflows and processes.

• Background in endpoint security, operating system concepts, or a related field with comparable challenges in large-scale event processing and real-time processing.

• Proven ability to mentor, develop, and retain exceptional AI engineering talent.

• Expert-level proficiency in Python and contemporary frameworks (e.g., Pydantic), cloud-native MLOps platforms (e.g., Kubeflow), and large-scale data processing technologies, including practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and working within cloud environments, particularly AWS and Google Cloud.
