This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, construct, and train machine learning and deep learning models, including GenAI, NLP, and predictive analytics solutions targeted at healthcare applications.
• Develop, test, and implement AI solutions in both cloud and on-premise settings.
• Handle extensive healthcare datasets, conducting data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
• Ensure that data processing adheres to HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
• Integrate and optimize AI models within Gainwell’s existing technology framework.
• Collaborate with software engineers to facilitate seamless system integration.
• Monitor, refine, and enhance AI models for precision, efficiency, and speed utilizing MLOps best practices.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in AI/ML and investigate new technologies and methodologies.
• Ensure AI implementations comply with healthcare regulations, ethical AI guidelines, and data privacy standards.
• Recognize opportunities to automate workflows and enhance business processes through AI-driven solutions.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering.
• Practical experience with GenAI, NLP, deep learning, and computer vision.
• Proficient coding skills in Python.
• Familiarity with TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience with LLMs such as GPT, Gemini, and Claude, including prompt engineering and optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of MLOps practices.
• Experience with big data tools like Spark, Hadoop, and SQL/NoSQL.
• Proven track record of developing, deploying, and fine-tuning LLMs for practical applications.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to convert business challenges into AI-driven solutions.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, CMS, and other healthcare regulatory standards is advantageous.
