This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish technical strategies and spearhead architectural design for cloud, data, and AI/ML systems within comprehensive engagements.
• Design scalable cloud-native solutions, incorporating multi-cloud and hybrid approaches.
• Develop data architectures that include data warehouses, data lakes, and both batch and streaming pipelines.
• Create AI/ML systems, focusing on model serving, MLOps pipelines, feature stores, and applications based on large language models (LLMs).
• Set standards for infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and DevOps across various engagements.
• Enhance performance, scalability, cost-efficiency, and reliability of deployed systems.
• Ensure that architecture complies with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead initiatives for cloud migrations and modernization of platforms.
• Utilize modern AI tools like Claude and Cursor to deliver high-quality outcomes efficiently.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and clients as the primary technical representative on strategy and direction.
• Articulate intricate technical concepts to both engineering and non-engineering stakeholders.
• Work closely with engineering, data, AI, and product teams to harmonize architecture with business objectives.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation, standards, and guidelines.
• Define and advocate for architectural standards and best practices.
• Mentor skilled engineers and architects.
• Take ownership of challenging architectural and integration issues as the senior technical decision-maker.
• Assess emerging technologies and suggest tools, frameworks, and patterns.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years in technical leadership positions.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong foundation in microservices, serverless architecture, containers, and event-driven systems.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code and CI/CD practices.
• Extensive experience in data architecture across relational, NoSQL, and big data systems.
• Hands-on expertise in data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and orchestration.
• Significant experience in designing production-level AI/ML systems, including LLMs, MLOps, and model serving.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, identity, and access management within cloud environments.
• Familiarity with governance, compliance, and observability frameworks.
• Strong software engineering capabilities in Python, APIs, and containerization.
• Proven track record in senior technical leadership and mentoring seasoned engineers.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated use of AI-driven tools such as Claude and Cursor.
• Experience in multi-cloud architecture, AI ethics or responsible AI practices, or enterprise architecture certifications is a plus.
