
Principal Account Manager β Navy and Marine Corps Aviation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.
β’ Act as the main liaison for designated Navy, Government, and Defense clients
β’ Promote business expansion, program implementation, financial outcomes, and customer contentment
β’ Formulate and execute strategic growth plans customized to meet customer requirements
β’ Direct cross-functional teams to achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan (STRAP) goals
β’ Ensure precise forecasting for short-term outlooks, demand forecasting, and financial results
β’ Oversee and manage profitability, win rates, and working capital
β’ Cultivate a culture of accountability and ownership within integrated product teams
β’ Collaborate with Sales, Technical Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Advanced Technology, and Government Relations to implement growth strategies
β’ Guide the proposal development and approval process alongside Proposal Managers and functional stakeholders
β’ Ensure adherence to cost, schedule, scope, and IPDS standards utilizing matrixed pursuit teams
β’ Assist in decision-making related to marketing, pricing, contracting, and the execution of product sustainment and new business opportunities
β’ Maintain robust working relationships across Program Management, Engineering, ISC, Finance, Pricing, Contracts, and Customer Support
β’ Report directly to the Director of Navy and Marine Corps business
β’ Willingness to travel up to 25%
β’ Previous experience with Navy/USMC programs or defense clients is preferred
β’ Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, BOMs, material planning, procurement, and SAP
β’ Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
β’ Experience with Salesforce is an advantage
β’ Exceptional communication, presentation, and decision-making capabilities
β’ Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and establish enduring customer relationships
β’ Must be a US Citizen due to contractual obligations
β’ The ideal candidate is a former aviator (Navy, USMC, USCG), acquisition officer, or program manager with extensive knowledge of naval aviation
