Principal 3D Artist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create intricate 3D illustrations and motion graphics for web, marketing, and digital platforms.

• Transform abstract technical concepts into visual narratives, style frames, and storyboards.

• Develop complex procedural scenes in Cinema 4D and dynamic motion systems utilizing physics simulations and advanced deformers.

• Establish lighting arrangements and node-based Redshift shaders for brand materials.

• Set up multi-pass render outputs and EXR compositing workflows in After Effects.

• Define and uphold project templates, lighting setups, and material libraries.

• Oversee ACES/OCIO color-managed workflows.

• Design and manage shared material and texture libraries.

• Collaborate with designers and engineers to align creative ideas with performance requirements.

• Supervise the technical pipeline for interactive 3D, including geometry optimization, texture baking, and web asset compression.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of ten years of experience delivering exceptional 3D visuals in design studios, creative agencies, or corporate brand teams.

• Proficient in Cinema 4D and Redshift.

• Advanced skills in modeling, cinematic lighting, node-based material design, and procedural workflows.

• Comprehensive understanding of visual hierarchy, composition, and form.

• Capability to craft visual narratives, style frames, and production storyboards.

• Keen attention to detail and a strong passion for high-quality brand assets.

• Experience managing the complete creative process from concept and illustration to animation, rendering, and post-production.

• Familiarity with X-Particles, Houdini, character rigging, or Python scripting for C4D is highly regarded.

• Knowledge of interactive web 3D tools such as Spline or Three.js is also highly valued.
