Primary Care Physician, MD/DO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional preventative, acute, and chronic care in a completely remote, virtual environment.

• Enhance remote healthcare by offering empathetic and impactful patient interactions.

• Oversee a specific panel of patients as their primary care physician.

• Refer patients to specialists or acute care services when clinically appropriate.

• Participate in population health initiatives for risk-attributed patients, including AWVs, care gaps, transitions of care, and risk capture.

• Assist patients immediately after discharge to enhance their comprehension of treatment plans and decrease hospital readmissions.

• Engage in ongoing self-assessment to ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-Certified in Family or Internal Medicine.

• A minimum of 3 years of post-residency work experience.

• At least 2 years of experience in an in-person primary care setting.

• Experience with virtual visits is mandatory.

• Active CA state medical license; IMLC is preferred.

• Previous experience with EPIC EMR.

• Currently enrolled or eligible for enrollment as a Medicare provider.

• Clean background and medical malpractice history.

• Willing to commit to 40 hours per week, including 36 clinical hours.

• Available to work Monday and Friday with flexible starting hours, such as 7 am–12:30 pm PST.

• Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.

• Strong enthusiasm for developing long-term patient relationships and managing chronic care conditions.

• Comfortable handling acute conditions in a virtual setting.

• Extensive experience managing 3 or more cases per hour.

• Willingness to learn and apply innovative technology to enhance efficiency and care delivery.
