Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional virtual primary care through video consultations, encompassing assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient education.

• Oversee a panel of patients, providing comprehensive care for acute, chronic, and preventive needs.

• Collaborate with the Care and Case Management team to formulate care plans and facilitate successful outcomes.

• Partner with supervising physicians as mandated by state regulations and practice protocols.

• Collaborate with the Credentialing Team to secure additional state licenses as necessary.

• Uphold patient satisfaction and quality metrics by practicing evidence-based medicine with outstanding bedside manner.

• Employ telehealth technology to deliver patient care while effectively managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical setting.

• Keep abreast of the latest medical knowledge, treatments, and medications.

• Comply with assigned schedules, which may include evenings and weekends.

• Rigorously adhere to HIPAA and security regulations to protect patient information.

• Foster a culture of humility, curiosity, and collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of four years of experience providing primary care in an ambulatory or outpatient family medicine or internal medicine setting.

• Experience in independently managing a patient panel as the primary care provider.

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner and RN license in the state of residence; capability to obtain licenses in additional states as required.

• Preference for multi-state licensure.

• Current and active board certification from a national certifying body through ANCC or AANP.

• Must maintain active Medicare status and not be excluded, sanctioned, or reprimanded by any state or federal healthcare program (including Medicare/Medicaid), the OIG, or the GSA.

• Comfort in addressing a wide range of medical conditions, including both acute and chronic issues as well as preventive care.

• Ability and willingness to provide care for patients of all ages throughout their lifespan.

• Must have a professional, private, and secure home office for virtual patient consultations.

• Proven ability to deliver empathetic and compassionate care to patients and families during challenging circumstances.

• Capability to manage high patient volumes and competing priorities in a dynamic clinical environment while maintaining quality of care.

• Strong proficiency with technology and electronic health platforms; experience with telehealth is preferred.
