Pricing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Evaluate pricing estimates for both potential and existing clients

• Collaborate with sales and client services to guarantee timely delivery of pricing proposals

• Cultivate and sustain knowledge of pricing elements, such as pharmacy rates, client business lines, MAC, industry benchmarks, and implementation prerequisites

• Employ analytical tools to track network performance and ensure adherence to contracts

• Assist in the manufacturer rebate process from the submission of claims to the reconciliation of payments

• Collaborate with development teams to automate pricing estimates and keep pricing tables up to date

• Generate ad hoc financial reports and analyses, including cost/benefit assessments, rate evaluations, win/loss statistics, and competitive insights

• Examine historical claims usage and compile client utilization reports

• Aid in pharmacy contract negotiations through financial impact assessments

• Support reporting and data extraction tasks

• Develop and disseminate policies, procedures, and quality assurance standards for pricing practices

• Ensure appropriate storage and retention of pricing documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Healthcare Analytics is preferred

• Over 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred

• Background in the PBM or pricing analytics sector is preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word is required

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and financial formulas, are required

• Experience in data reporting/analysis using tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI is required

• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, which includes verification of employment and education

• Successful completion of a 4-panel drug screening
