
Prescription Experience Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +33 more states.
• Take ownership of the complete prescription process for newly onboarded practices and escalated cases, spanning from initial submission to final determination.
• Navigate prior authorizations across various insurance plans, pharmacies, and affordability programs.
• Examine case histories, pinpoint stalled issues, escalate to the relevant internal teams, and ensure resolution.
• Proactively address issues to prevent delays, collaborating with plans, pharmacies, and providers.
• Communicate with providers and patients via phone, email, and text.
• De-escalate high-pressure situations and deliver expert support.
• Maintain 100% accuracy in each case.
• Recognize prescription trends and convert them into practice guidance or internal escalations.
• Utilize proprietary software tools to implement and refine operational workflows.
• Exercise judgment regarding intervention, escalation, and case advancement.
• Work collaboratively across functions to resolve issues faced by patients and providers.
• Experience in a position that demands analytical problem-solving, operational rigor, and accountability for outcomes.
• Client-facing experience; comfortable communicating through phone, text, and email.
• Proficient in de-escalating tense discussions.
• Some medical or healthcare background, such as a medical assistant, pre-med, healthcare support experience, or similar roles.
• Capable of independently managing and prioritizing a diverse caseload.
• Ability to rapidly master complex software tools and work with data.
• Skilled in resolving ambiguous issues and adapting swiftly to new workflows.
• Must currently reside in or be in the process of relocating to Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Wisconsin.
• Full-time remote position, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
