Presales System Engineer – m/w/d

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist the B2B sales team as the technical liaison for evaluating customer needs.

• Design customized network and infrastructure solutions, including video surveillance.

• Develop tailored solution proposals and support customers throughout the process from requirements to implementation.

• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proofs of concept.

• Influence customers and partners during workshops, webinars, meetings, trade shows, and other events.

• Aid in tender processes (RfX) and produce technical proposal documentation.

• Contribute to the successful execution of customer projects.

• Keep track of market trends, technological advancements, and competitive landscape.

• Provide insights to enhance the ongoing development of the product and solution portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong interest in network technologies.

• Familiarity with SDN, routing, switching, VPN, Ethernet, WiFi, enterprise WLAN, and PoC.

• Completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, network engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.

• Professional experience in presales, technical sales, solution engineering, or a similar role, preferably in the IT or telecommunications fields.

• In-depth understanding of contemporary network architectures.

• Experience with various operating systems and enterprise environments.

• Proficiency in managing tenders (RfX) and creating technical solution concepts.

• Ability to articulate complex technical issues in a clear and audience-appropriate manner.

• Professional, customer-focused, and convincing communication skills.

• Capability to translate customer needs into technically and economically viable solutions.

• Proficient in written and spoken German and English.

• Willingness to travel within Germany, approximately 50% of the time.
