Presale Software Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate customer-facing discovery and planning sessions.

• Develop Software Introductory Implementation Plans (IIPs), outlining project scope, timelines, assumptions, and associated risks.

• Create system topology and infrastructure diagrams utilizing Microsoft Visio.

• Assess networks, servers, security, cloud, and virtualized environments.

• Present findings and recommendations to IT teams, clinical leaders, CIOs, and executives.

• Conduct quote readiness reviews to ensure seamless transitions to implementation teams.

• Collaborate with Sales, Service, Software Upgrades, and Project Management teams to evaluate customer environments, define technical requirements, develop implementation strategies, and confirm project readiness prior to deployment.

• Assist healthcare organizations in planning, designing, and implementing intricate oncology software solutions that support clinicians, optimize operations, and improve the patient experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in Project Management, Healthcare IT, Solution Architecture, Software Deployment, or Technical Implementation.

• Strong background in Healthcare IT.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Understanding of network architecture, security systems, servers, and enterprise IT environments.

• Exceptional communication, organizational, and customer-facing consulting abilities.

• Capability to work remotely within the Pacific Time Zone (PST).

• PMP Certification is preferred.

• Experience in the oncology industry is preferred.

• Familiarity with Varian software solutions is preferred.

• Experience in cloud and virtualization environments is preferred.

• Previous interaction with executive stakeholders is preferred.

• The successful candidate must comply with US export control laws when working with controlled technology.
