Preplacement Specialist I – Contract Talent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Facilitate the fulfillment of compliance requirements mandated by clients, which include criminal background checks, drug testing, verification of education and employment, health screenings, and onboarding documentation.

• Oversee daily background checks and provide status updates to fulfillment offices and candidates.

• Engage directly with clients to influence pending start dates, remove obstacles, and adjudicate results.

• Identify trends that may lead to delays and develop effective workarounds.

• Collect supporting documents to address discrepancies and accelerate clearance processes.

• Audit completed requirements to assess eligibility for placement.

• Electronically archive requirements for audit purposes.

• Track turnaround times within designated client portfolios and escalate opportunities for process enhancement.

• Conduct program support activities, including focus groups, collaboration meetings, and special projects.

• Maintain and regularly update program tracking logs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• At least 1 year of experience in background verification, customer service, or a comparable high-volume customer service role.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong understanding of customer service and/or technical support principles.

• Capability to interact and communicate effectively with customers of varying expertise levels.

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.

• Excellent team organization skills.

• Successful completion of a background check is required as a condition of employment.
