Premium & Billing Service Processor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Oversee premium and billing applications, which includes the configuration and setup of new accounts in relevant systems.

• Investigate discrepancies and perform analysis to identify root causes.

• Ensure that all information is complete and organized.

• Supervise premium and billing for accurate completion, including balancing expenses.

• Diagnose and resolve premium and billing issues by addressing root causes.

• Manage basic reporting, as well as processing terminations and reinstatements.

• Handle payment transfers as necessary.

• Deliver customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Administer premium and billing cases in accordance with established procedures and guidelines while adhering to quality and production standards.

• Elevate complex issues and concerns to senior team members or management.

• Recognize, suggest, and advocate for process enhancements and organizational initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.

• 0 - 1+ years of experience in billing, premium, and/or reconciliation that aligns directly with the specific responsibilities of this role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt as necessary.

• Skill in articulating and modifying provisions, with comfort in contract language.
