Preconstruction Planner – EV Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop initial spatial planning and site feasibility plans for electric vehicle (EV) operations facilities.

• Create site layouts, conduct feasibility studies, and formulate early-stage design concepts for both new and existing EV operations facilities.

• Generate detailed drawings and documentation for service areas, support spaces, and site infrastructure.

• Design and coordinate EV charging layouts in accordance with accessibility standards and electrical requirements.

• Collaborate with Preconstruction and Design management teams to ensure designs meet operational needs.

• Engage in site evaluations and offer architectural insights during the due diligence and planning phases.

• Comply with applicable SOX control responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 3–5 years of experience in architectural planning or early-phase design.

• Previous experience in supporting entitlement or feasibility studies is preferred.

• Experience in designing EV charging infrastructure and coordinating with electrical systems is an advantage.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Basic knowledge of Bluebeam.

• Proficiency in Google applications and interface preferred.

• Fundamental understanding of zoning analysis and building code principles.

• Exceptional organizational skills.

• Capability to work efficiently under tight timelines.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills across various teams.

• Creative problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to changing priorities.
