This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate in-depth technical discussions and discovery sessions with architects, security engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Showcase and demonstrate the unique features of PlainID’s platform and its key differentiators.
• Manage the complete proof-of-concept process, including scoping, environment setup, policy creation, and executive presentations.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers during intricate sales processes.
• Address RFx requests and align technical solutions with the organization's objectives.
• Recognize the business value of prospects’ adoption of PBAC/ABAC and document it in executive summaries.
• Assist customers in integrating PlainID with identity providers, IGA, PAM, API gateways, and data platforms.
• Act as the main technical resource for the sales team, addressing authorization challenges with PlainID solutions.
• Support onsite customer interactions and partner events, with travel up to 50% within the designated region.
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in Identity Security as a Sales Engineer, Solution Architect, or a comparable technical pre-sales position.
• Strong understanding of PBAC and ABAC methodologies.
• Knowledge of OPA/Rego policy language is highly desirable.
• Expertise in OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and OAuth 2.0.
• Familiarity with AuthZEN is a benefit.
• Knowledge of SPIFFE & SPIRE is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with Linux/Windows environments and containerization technologies, including Kubernetes, Helm charts, and AWS ECS.
• Proficient in RESTful APIs, API Gateways such as Apigee and Kong, and data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and SQL.
• Knowledge of securing AI agents, including MCP, RAG, LangChain/LangGraph, NHI, on-behalf-of execution, and agent discovery.
• Outstanding presentation skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Capability to conduct gap analyses and deliver technical commitments that align with long-term partnership objectives.
• Ability to manage multiple proofs of concept and technical workstreams concurrently.
• Proficient in collaborating with Product, Global Services, and Marketing teams.
• Information security certifications such as CISSP and CISA, or AWS/Azure certifications, are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region to support onsite customer engagements and partner events.
