This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage the daily operations of the firm’s pre-litigation team.

• Provide direct management, mentorship, and support to pre-litigation paralegals and team leaders.

• Distribute workloads, track performance, and ensure adequate coverage across all teams.

• Conduct regular check-ins, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions.

• Assist in the hiring, onboarding, and training processes for new paralegals and team leaders.

• Cultivate a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team culture.

• Oversee case workflows to guarantee timely progression.

• Identify workflow bottlenecks and initiate process enhancements.

• Collaborate with attorneys to ensure paralegal support aligns with case strategies.

• Ensure precise case documentation, reporting, and data entry.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance standard operating procedures for pre-litigation support.

• Ensure adherence to firm policies, ethical standards, and jurisdictional requirements.

• Monitor case metrics and KPIs to assess efficiency and performance.

• Implement best practices to boost productivity, quality control, and client service.

• Work closely with intake, medical records, demand, litigation, and settlement teams.

• Act as a point of contact for operational issues that affect case flow.

• Communicate staffing requirements, workload trends, and operational challenges to leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm setting, particularly with pre-litigation and/or litigation cases.

• Previous experience managing paralegals or legal support staff is required.

• Strong knowledge of personal injury or civil litigation processes is preferred.

• Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

• Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficient in case management systems and legal software.

• Experienced in leadership and team development.

• Skilled in process optimization and operational oversight.

• Strong attention to detail and a deadline-driven mindset.

• Capable of problem-solving and making informed decisions.

• Clear and professional communicator.
